Cookies & Browser Storage
Cookies are small files stored on your device by a website. Local storage is a different technology that saves information in your browser.
The Tales page code does not set cookies. It uses the local-storage record described below to remember accessibility preferences when you choose them. For information about personal data, read our Privacy Policy.
Accessibility Preferences
When you change an accessibility setting, this website saves your choices on that browser so they can be applied when you return.
- Storage name:
tales-viewing-preferences-v1 - Type: local storage, not a cookie.
- Provider: Tales Talent Management; stored by this website in your browser.
- Purpose: remembers your selected text size, spacing, contrast, link emphasis, motion and other viewing preferences.
- When it is saved: when you change an accessibility setting; it is not created on a fresh visit unless you make a change.
- Duration: no automatic expiry. It remains until you select Reset preferences, clear this site’s browser data, or your browser removes it.
- Controls: open Accessibility settings and select Reset preferences to remove the saved record.
This record contains viewing choices, not your name, email address or enquiry messages. It is specific to your browser and device and is not sent to an analytics service.
Analytics, Fonts & Email Links
The Tales pages do not include analytics or advertising tags, embedded video players or embedded social-media feeds.
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts using fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com. Your browser connects to Google to request the font files. These are external font requests, separate from the accessibility preference record. See Google Fonts privacy information (opens in a new tab).
Enquiries use email links that open your email application. There is no public enquiry form, and the Tales pages do not save enquiry messages or form fields in browser storage.
The casting shortlist lasts only while the current page remains open; it is not saved in cookies or local storage.
Your Choices
To remove saved accessibility choices, open Accessibility settings and select Reset preferences. This removes the preference record. It will be saved again only if you change a setting.
You can also clear this website’s site data using your browser’s privacy settings. Clearing cookies alone may not remove local storage. Blocking storage may stop your viewing choices being remembered.
Reset preferences only controls Tales accessibility settings. It does not remove cookies or storage used by other websites or separate hosting services.
External Websites
Instagram, WhatsApp, IMDb, Spotlight and support links take you to independent services. They are links, not embedded feeds or widgets. Those services’ own privacy and cookie information applies when you visit them.
Website Hosting
GoDaddy hosts this website and may process technical connection information, such as IP addresses and server request logs. Server logs are not the same as cookies or local storage on your device.
The storage information above describes what the Tales pages save. Hosting and security services operate separately; see GoDaddy’s privacy information (opens in a new tab) for its service practices.
